Benjamin Lappalainen

Benjamin Lappalainen (he/him) is an emerging multidisciplinary artist living in Toronto, ON.

With an educational background in aerospace engineering, a professional background in product management for a smart home lighting tech company, and a diverse set of creative and technical skills from photography to creative coding, Benjamin takes the motto “variety is the spice of life” very seriously. He is focused on creating engaging, playful, and awe-inspiring audiovisual experiences in the form of innovative new media art installations and performances as a means to explore novel human-computer interaction.
